Tracy Wilkins

Junior Planner

Tracy’s interest in planning and community building began during her work as a bike advocate with HUB Cycling. Through her work developing and managing programs to encourage people to bike more often, Tracy was able to tackle several important issues, including the environment, physical and mental health, and equitable access and transportation options. She is endlessly curious about the influence that the built form has on our wellbeing, and is motivated by her passion to foster connection and engage communities. She is currently exploring these areas through her Master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia.

Tracy brings experience managing engagement programs, behaviour change campaigns, and strategic partnerships. Having worked for the municipal government, not-for-profits, and alongside consultancy firms, Tracy has had the opportunity to work on several projects, including overseeing Vancouver’s School Streets Pilot and as the Activations Manager for Streets for People.

Tracy believes that great places are those that feel like they belong to the city’s inhabitants. She looks forward to continuing to provide opportunities and advocate for shared, open, and accessible conversations in order to create such spaces.
